The Best Way to Peel Garlic

Use the flat part of a chef’s knife to first smash the head into cloves, then to smash the cloves to easily remove the skins. It's the best way to peel garlic!


I have also pivoted away from mincing garlic, preferring to slice the cloves thinly. This is a quicker technique and helps prevent the garlic from burning.
